Pizza Making At Home

Pizza Making At Home

One thing I’ve found is that when your time with friends and family is limited, purposeful cooking in the kitchen is a perfect way to connect. It’s a space to talk, share stories, enjoy company… and multitask your pleasure at the same time.

Growing up with one of my grandmothers being Sicilian, the kitchen was always the heart of the home. Maybe it’s the same for you—memories of time spent there, or moments you’ll want to pass along to your kids so they do the same someday.

What started as just making a pizza quickly turned into an obsession. Who likes which toppings? What style of dough is best? Is infused dough better? Are imported Italian ingredients worth it? (Yes.) Does temperature matter? (Absolutely.)

Once a week, this became a ritual in the household. And God forbid someone didn’t show up—we’d end up with way too much pizza! But in the chaos, laughter, and constant tweaking, the kitchen became more than just a place to cook—it became a place to make memories, share love, and savor the little moments.
